1. No Personal Data Collection

Our core philosophy is absolute user privacy. We designed Gallery Slim so that it does not require, collect, or store any of your personal data on external servers:

No Account Registration: You can use all functions of the App without creating an account or providing any personal identification details (such as name, email address, or phone number).
No Cloud Uploads: All photo sorting, de-duplication, similarity scanning, and video compression algorithms are executed 100% locally on your iOS device. Your media assets are never uploaded to our or any third-party servers.

2. Device Permissions Requested

To deliver our core photo-cleaning and compression features, the App requests specific iOS permissions. You have complete control over these permissions via your iOS system settings:

Photo Library Access (Read and Write): We require access to your Photo Library to scan for duplicates, blurry photos, large files, and to execute deletion or compression requests. Your media is processed strictly on-device.
Notifications (Optional): We may request notification permission to alert you when device storage is low, or to notify you when background cleanup/compression tasks are complete.

3. Data Security

Since your photos and videos never leave your physical device, your data inherits the robust, built-in security features of Apple's iOS ecosystem. We do not maintain any databases containing your private media, minimizing any risk of external data breaches.

4. Third-Party Services

The App may contain basic software development kits (SDKs) used for operational analytics (such as identifying crash logs to improve app performance) or facilitating App Store purchases/subscriptions. These analytics partners only collect anonymous, aggregated technical metrics (e.g., iOS version, device model, crash logs) and do not have access to your personal files or photos.

When you use the App to delete photos or videos, they are processed directly through your iOS system. Depending on your system settings, deleted files will be moved to your device's "Recently Deleted" album or permanently removed. We have no technical capability to retrieve or recover any files you choose to delete.
